Live At SXSW: Late Night Trash Can With Amber Ruffin & Jenny Hagel
When you write for a late night television show, you pitch a lot of ideas - and a lot of them get rejected. But in Late Night Trash Can, they get resurrected! "Late Night with Seth Meyers" writers Amber Ruffin and Jenny Hagel read jokes, sketches and desk pieces that they have pitched during their years at Late Night that didn't make it to the show. And they share the stories about why the pieces were rejected - and what they learned from it.
Recorded live in Austin, Texas at South by Southwest on March 10, 2019.
